Fall 2013 Registration

U6 - U14

Registration for Fall 2013 opens May 1, 2013 and will run thru June 15. A late fee of $25 will be applied to all registrations received afterwards. In addition, there is a $10 fee for all registrations paid by check. The processing fee is included in the registration & is non-refundable.

Please ensure that the child's date of birth and school grade are correct and that the child is entered in the expected age group.

U6 and U8 Team Assignments U6 and U8 teams will continue to be randomly assigned as voted by coaches in Spring 2008, but now with attempts to group schools together. Coach requests by parents will continue to not be honored as was previously voted by coaches. U6 level allows for flexibility for age whether the child is 5 or 6 years old or in Kindergarten.

Two year age grouping for 2013/2014 Season:
UNDER 19    Born on or after AUG 1, 1994 & Younger
UNDER 18    Born on or after AUG 1, 1995 & Younger
UNDER 16    Born on or after AUG 1, 1997 & Younger
UNDER 14    Born on or after AUG 1, 1999 & Younger
UNDER 12    Born on or after AUG 1, 2001 & Younger
UNDER 10    Born on or after AUG 1, 2003 & Younger
UNDER 8     Born on or after AUG 1, 2005 & Younger
UNDER 6     Born on or after AUG 1, 2007 & Younger

High School Teams

U16 and U18 registration will open: TBD. These teams are 100% organized by the individual coaches. Coaches will contact players directly. Unfortunately, the U16 and U18 categories do not have open registration like the other age groups and this is due to coaching availability. If you haven't been contacted by a coach but would like to play, please email our upper registrar via email with name and DOB. A running list of interested players will be kept in case there are openings on any teams. If you're a coach that would like to put together a fal4 team, please contact our upper registrar to find out the necessary steps.

NYSA Refund Policy


To eliminate confusion for parents of NYSA players, the board has developed a refund policy. We understand that circumstances occur which require a player to withdraw from the program. The described approach must be followed to be sure that the impacted teams can be addressed and that an accurate and timely refund occurs.
  • All refund requests must be requested no less that 3 weeks prior to the first game of the season.
  • An email should be sent to our upper registrar stating that the player is withdrawing from the program for the season and you are requesting a refund.
  • No refunds will be issued after the above date except in the case of a season ending injury that occurs before the first game of the season.
  • The refunded amount will be the registration fee (minus the web site processing charge) plus uniform fee (if applicable & still with tags on).
